UNPLUG the machine.
Check all connections.

Check the motor connection at the main board. It is a red 3-pin connector with red, yellow, and blue wires. Be sure the power is OFF. The motor runs on 310 VDC. A shock could be fatal.

Check the hall sensor connector. It is a white, 4-pin connector with red, whte, blue, and gray wires. See HALL SENSOR for the test procedure for the hall sensor. It can be checked at the main board or at the midway connector, as shown below.

midway_conn
Check the connectors at the midway position. This is usually in the bottom of the rear access panel on the left as you face the back of the machine.

rotor_2
Remove the rotor to be sure one of the magnets isn't cracked or some foreign material isn't in there. Use a 17 mm wrench to remove the bolt holding the rotor in place. DO NOT stick a screwdriver or other tool into the slots in the rotor to hold it while turning the bolt. See MOTOR for instructions to remove the rotor.

stator_2
You'll have to remove the stator to change the hall sensor. Loosen the clamps holding the wiring to the tub before removing the stator. See STATOR for more information.
