Return Policy

Reliable Parts Return Policy 2023

A completed parts return form containing part number, quantity, purchase invoice number and reason for return must accompany all returns.

All returns must be within 90 days from date of invoice. All parts that are not in original resalable packaging, or parts that have been installed, modified, rebuilt, reconditioned, repaired, altered or damaged in any way, cannot be returned for credit.

Reliable Parts reserves the right to charge a restocking fee with the following exceptions: damaged parts, warranty parts or returns as a result of Reliable Parts error. These items will not be charged a restocking fee.

Special order parts (non stock), parts that have been installed or parts that are not in their original unmarked resalable packaging cannot be returned for credit.

The Manufacturer’s Exchange Authorization number may be required if a unit has been exchanged by the manufacturer and the servicer wants to return non-stock parts.

All returned parts must be shipped prepaid. Any returns that are shipped collect will have shipping costs deducted from their credit.

Reliable Parts must be notified within 10 days of any short shipments or damaged parts.

Warranty parts may need to be returned to your nearest Reliable Parts branch or Distribution Centre, along with a completed Warranty Claim Form (found in the footer of our site).

Once you submit your claim form, a member of our Warranty Team will advise you if part needs to be returned or held.
