Is one of the buttons stuck?
Press the ON button to see if the machine turns on.
Press the START button to see if the machine starts.

If no lights come on, check the power at the outlet.
Check the noise filter.
Check to see if the red LED is lighted on the main board.

Be certain all the connections to the control panel have a valid connection. There will be three or more connectors. each connector is keyed and color-coded, making it virually impossible to make a misconnection. While checking the connections, verify each wire is firmly attached to its pin in the connection and there are no broken wires or bad crimps.

If the button is stuck or otherwise damaged, remove the control panel and inspect the button for damage. Pry it out of the plastic clips to replace it. Be sure the key is properly positioned so the button is turned in the correct direction.

Reassemble the machine and check for proper operation.

Press POWER and verify the panel lights come on. Twist the large control knob to verify the cycles can be selected.
Press START to verify machine starts.
Press STOP to ensure the machine turns off.

Press POWER to turn the machine on again.
Then press each individual button several times to verify all buttons work and every selection can be activated.
