Remove the freezer light switch, unplug it, and check the continuity. It should be 0 ohms normally and infinity when the button is pushed. Check both sides, as shown. |
Check CONNECTOR 4 and CONNECTOR 5 on the MAIN BOARD. Unplug them and check for bent pins and broken wires before plugging them back in. |
With the refrigerator power, read the voltage across PIN 1 of CONNECTOR 4 and PIN 1 CONNECTOR 5 on the MAIN BOARD. It should show 12 VDC whether the door is open or closed. If not, replace the MAIN BOARD. |
Check the voltage across PIN1 and PIN 3 of the freezer LED module. It should read 0 VDC with the door closed and 12 VDC with the door open.
Check the LED harness for opens and shorts. Repair as required. If the harness is good, replace the freezer LED module. |
